Cadillac CT6 launching this summer in GCC

There is great news for Cadillac fans in this region. The brand is set to launch their most awaited premium flagship model – the CT6 or Cadillac Touring 6. This all-new luxury sedan is set debut in the Middle East by summer this year.
This is all-new vehicle made from scratch using Cadillac’s newest tech and is set to be the best in American luxury as per the brand. In the GCC, the CT6 is set to launch in two trim levels i.e. Luxury and Platinum. The luxury trim will be starting at USD 63300 or AED 233000 whereas the Platinum variant will be starting at USD 78800 or AED 290000.
“The CT6 is Cadillac’s take on the prestige sedan, combining space and luxury with agile driving dynamics,” said Felix Weller, Managing Director of Cadillac Middle East. “Our pricing strategy furthers our competitive edge, and reflects the CT6’s comprehensive package that offers the style, performance and technological advances customers in this segment appreciate and expect from Cadillac.” Weller added.
Coming to the specs, the CT6 will be offered in two engine options. The base level trim will be powered by the 3.6 liter V6 engine producing 335 BHP. However, the top-spec variant will receive the all-new 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 400 BHP and 543 Nm of torque. Both these engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, both these models will be coming with all-wheel-drive system as standard.
Other technologies in the new CT6 include active rear steering and magnetic ride control. The active rear steering is a welcome change in the American cars and will help them steer in the corners better. Magnetic ride control is taken from the Escalade to smoothen out humps and bumps on the road for a relaxing ride. Cadillac CT6 also includes Rear Camera Mirror, Night Vision and 34 Speaker Bose audio system.
