Businessmen, rejoice! The Lexus LX has landed in the UAE

The LX model has always offered the highest level of luxury and performance in the Lexus lineup. For those of you who don’t know, the LX is basically a Toyota Land Cruiser turned up to 11 with Lexus’ design and innovation.

The new LX has been launched in the UAE by Al-Futtaim Lexus and it looks to steal the hearts of many rich businessmen. The luxury SUV has been built on the new lightweight Global Architecture GA-F platform. Thanks to the new platform, the new LX is around 200kgs lighter than its predecessor.

The LX sports Lexus’ new design language with the signature Lexus grille, new one-piece, top-hinged back door and striking rear lights.

Under the hood you will find a brand new V6 twin-turbo 3.5-liter engine that produces 409 hp and up to 650 nm of torque. All the power is sent to the four wheels via an automatic 10 speed gearbox.

Step inside and you will find an updated Tazuna cockpit, a 10-inch head-up color display, an 8-inch color Multi-information Display (MID), wireless charging for smartphones, and a 4-zone automatic air conditioning system with rear control switches. The seats are also comfier than ever and offer more space to all passengers.

But the LX is not just about luxury. Lexus says the LX guarantees “ease and quality on any road in the world” with its rugged off road capability. The LX’s safety features also come in handy whether you go off roading or stick to the public highway. Lexus has given the LX 10 airbags and premium features like Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), Parking Support Brake (PKSB), Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), Multi-terrain Monitor (MTM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Downhill Assist Control (DAC), Tire Pressure Warning System (TPWS), and Drive Start Control (DSC). 

Customers can choose from six different exterior colours, Sonic Quartz, Sonic Titanium, Terrane Khaki, Black, Graphite Black, and Manganese Lustre. Option of 20 inch and 22 inch alloys is available with the wheels having high-contrast black and machined finish. The LX sits on the brand’s biggest tires yet.

What’s more, the LX family also comes with a VIP range this time to give you a top-notch luxurious experience. The VIP version has additions like a 25-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, a premium Rear Seat Entertainment system with 11.6-inch touch-screen displays, ventilation for the front and back seats, a kick-sensor operated power tailgate and completely automated foldable second and third-row seats.
