All-New 2024 Ford Mustang Lands in the UAE: Power, Performance, and Pure Muscle

The Ford Mustang is arguably the most iconic muscle car of all time. The global appeal of the Mustang cannot be understated and so Ford has started launching the muscle car in as many regions as possible and not limiting it to America. And so Ford has finally launched the seventh generation Mustang in the UAE. 

The styling of the all-new Mustang makes it look a whole lot more modern than its predecessors. The horizontal front bumper sits beneath a traditional three-section bonnet. View it from the side and you’ll notice the sleeker roofline. The three-bar taillamps, which have become a staple of the Mustang, have been updated with LEDs.

Now let’s talk about the (good) dinosaur in the room, THAT V8 engine. Yes, for now, the Mustang is purely powered by petrol but we don’t know for how long so let’s cherish these moments. The 5.0-litre V8 engine is a cracker with 486 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque on offer. 

It’s not about the power figures, it's about how the power is delivered. The sonorousness of the car is enhanced by a new dual air intake system that allows the engine to breathe more freely for a quicker response. Oh, and you won’t disturb your neighbors while leaving thanks to the Active Exhaust system that changes the engine sound and volume for “hushed urban driving.”

Design and Interior

Inside, the Mustang has a 12.4-inch instrument panel and a 13.2-inch central screen angled towards the driver. Ford has intended to give the Mustang’s cabin a fighter jet cockpit-like feel. The Unreal Engine gaming software is on show to improve the interactive animated graphics, a great step from Ford. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto4 are on offer with music coming through a premium B&O audio system.

The Dark Horse is the ultimate iteration of the Mustang with race car-inspired fixed rear wing, side skirts, rear diffuser, enhanced suspension, improved cooling and Pirelli tyres. The V8 engine is beefed up with a choice of a 10-speed automatic TREMEC six-speed manual gearbox on offer.
