Quick Overview

The 2013 BMW 3 Series is completely redesigned from the ground up; virtually everything is new, modern and class leading. A first for the 3 Series is that all cars in the range from the 316i to the 335i are equipped with turbocharged engines for better fuel economy and an increase in horsepower. 3 Series is the undisputed class leader and benchmark in the compact executive class rivalling the Audi A4, Mercedes C-Class and the Lexus IS.

Similar to the previous model in terms of looks, but more supple and refined, BMW handling is as sharp as ever. Being larger on the outside and inside, BMW managed to make it lighter than the outgoing model. This means rear passengers can enjoy the extra headroom and knee room. Material quality has also improved.

All cars come standard with BMW's Drive Experience Control which alters the car's dynamics through four settings, ECO Pro, Comfort, Sport and Sport+, the latter activates the standard fit E-Diff for better traction. Options for the 3 Series are numerous but opting for the superb 8 Speed Automatic would be the best choice.
