UAE Launch: 2013 Nissan Altima

Nissan launched it's 2013 Altima yesterday at Hamdan Sports Complex, launching a sedan war with the likes of Toyota Aurion, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry that will be determined largely on options and comfort features offered. 

The Altima is expected to be priced in close vicinity of 100,000 AED and will be available in UAE, KSA and other GCC showrooms from early next month. 

The models unveiled at launch included 2.5L 4 cylinder and 3.5L V6. 

The new model is not hugely different from the previous model, however three key features were pointed out with emphasis: 

1. The new Xtronic CVT transmission is expected to increase fuel efficiency

2. New suspension introduced for a smoother ride

3. Improved interior and navigation technology has been introduced
