Motorists who have pending traffic fines from the emirate of Ajman can now clear them in an easy installment scheme with zero interest. In a move to increase the happiness of the public and help them clear their fines with lesser burden, Ajman Police has introduced this scheme in partnership with Emirates Islamic Bank.

Major-General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, said: “Drivers can now clear their fines registered in Ajman in twelve installments. The installment plan is only valid on fines worth over AED 1,000 and is limited to customers of Emirates Islamic Bank. There will be no interest charged against the installment plan.”

This move follows in the footsteps of Dubai Police and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) who also introduced installment payment schemes to make clearing fines easier for the public.
