All new Toyota Rush SUV launched in the UAE

Al-Futtaim Toyota, the official distributor for Toyota vehicles in the UAE, welcomed the all-new Toyota Rush to its Middle Eastern line-up at an exciting event that took place at the Palazzo Versace in Dubai. A 7-seater compact SUV, the Toyota Rush is designed for those who are in search of the functionality and space of a large SUV with the affordability and reliability of a small SUV.
Sharing its drivetrain with the Toyota Avanza, the Rush features a bold design with crisp contours and neat 17-inch alloys for an intimidating stance. The chrome grille and angular headlamps enhance the wide, sharp design of the frontal fascia, while helping it stand out from the affordable people carrier it is based on.
“Crossover utility vehicles and compact SUVs represent the fastest growing segment in the global automotive industry. In our region, this category of vehicles has been on a steady growth trend since 2013 and is expected to steer in the same direction in the coming years, accounting for 25% of the total SUV market in the UAE.” said Saud Abbasi, Managing Director of Al-Futtaim Toyota.
Despite its compact body, the interior of the Toyota Rush offers an abundance of space that can be used to accommodate 7 adults or to transport ample amounts of cargo. The double-folding feature on 2nd and 3rd row seats provides easy access for all passengers, while ensuring they are comfortable with rear A/C vents and multiple 12V charging outlets.
Powered by a 1.5-liter in-line 4-cylinder petrol engine, the Rush is good for 103 horsepower and 135 Nm of torque, which it pushes through a 4-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels. Offering impressive amounts of ground clearance, the Rush conquers most terrain while offering a comfortable, quiet ride to its occupants.
Awarded a 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating, the Toyota Rush wears a price tag of AED 68,500 and features SRS driver and front passenger air bags, SRS side air bags and SRS curtain shield air bags, in addition to Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) systems.
